If you get a package of room/tickets, you can add the dining plan to it. However, you won't be able to get any AP or FL resident discounts on the room, AND you will need to purchase at least a 1 day 1 park MYW ticket for each person on the reservation.
You will probably save more $$ by not getting the DDP. Are you eligible for the DDE card? That would be a better option for you, IMO.
To book the Dining Plan, you just have to buy a one-day base ticket as part of a "package." But then you have to limit yourself to the restrictions of the Dining Plan.
Go to the Passholder website and check out the DDE - Disney Dining Experience...a much, much better deal for us!!!

nope, tickets don't expire 'til 14 days after FIRST USE! and if you don't use 'em, they don't expire... once you use a ticket, the 14 day clock starts ticking... but w/a one day ticket, it doesn't really matter 'cause once you use it, it's done!
