I Need Help Making Our Dining Plans. There Will Be My Mom, Dd (3) And Myself. I Want To Reserve Some Type Of Meal W/cinderella, For Sure!

However, I'm Worried About Where And When To Eat The Other Times, More! We Will Most Likely Eat In For Breakfast And Maybe Lunch? I Don't Know! This Is My First Trip And I Don't Know How To Go About It! Help, Please!!!

If you are planning on Cinderella's Royal Table you need to make reservations AT LEAST 90 days in advance. With the new 180 day window, that may even be a stretch. CRT books months in advance and is very hard to get. If you are going soon, you need to check immediately. Also, they will charge the full amount of the meal for all guests at the time of booking and you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance to get your $$ back.

If you're planning on other restaurants you need to make those ADR's quickly too.

Hope that helps.

This is a great place to start planning! :) Are you on the dining plan? Try visiting www.allearsnet.com to check out the menus. This will help you get an idea for some of the places you might want to try. It is a good idea to plan out your table service meals and call to make advance reservations. Don't forget that there are many wonderful restaurants in the resorts that are easy to get to. Some of my favorites are Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge, only a short boat ride from MK. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is also fun, this is on the monorail line. If you are visiting MGM, I would recommend the 50's PrimeTime Cafe or Sci Fi Dine In. There are so many choices at WDW. The best piece of advice I can give is to do some research and put some planning into your trip to make it the best trip ever!! :tigger:

If you can not get an ADR for CRT then try 1900 Park Fair, its a real good alternate to the castle and the food is pretty good too.

One thing to keep in mind about selecting restaurants is that if there are 100 diferent places to eat at WDW then you will get 200 different opinions on which is the best, on these boards. Use them only as a guide but certainly visit www.allears.com and look at the menus and decide for yourself where you would like to eat. A perfect example is Marrakesh and Biergarten. We think these are the the absolute worst restaurants we ahve ever been to but you will find many disers who rave about these places.

For what its worth our top five favorites are Le Cellier, Chefs, Boma, 'Ohana during the fireworks and Palio.

just returned in dec with my 2 ds 12 and went to many character meals. we did go to the castle but at dinner which did not have characters at the meals. cindarella did arrive in the waiting area and take pictures and sign books. the food was great and the castle was fantastic( this meals was more for me because i had never eaten in the castle) our fav. char. meals was chef mickeys. the interaction was incredible and we saw each of the characters at least 4-5 times we did have late res. though so not sure i it is right at meals time if it would be the same. food was good here. Also ate at crystal palace with pooh cnharacter food was alright and character interaction was good espically becasue we had no little children. 1900 park fare had great food for breakfast and the interaction was great as well.
are you geting the dining plan? if so then i would deffinately go to le cellier at epcot for dinner great food great service. also alfredo in epcot was good as well. as far as counter service meals tusker house at animal kingdom had great food and huge portions in magic pecos bills had huge portions as well.

If you havent checked out the Dining Plan Option - you can get info at http://www.touringplans.com/MYWDining.html
to see if its right for you...

I too wanted to make WDW special for my parents, and I wanted to eat at the top of Contemporary California Grille - and then head out to watch Wishes from their balcony - magical...

LeCellier has awesome food, and the atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, and AIR CONDITIONED!!

For character meals, there was nothing like eating in the castle, but I am no longer convinced it is worth 2TS or the money esp for breakfast... but as an alternative, eat at 1900 Park Fair at the Grand Floridian for dinner - Cinderella, the Prince and the mice, and Fairy Godmother are there... it is a buffet meal, you can call wdw dining and reserve a special cake, or a slipper dessert (made by the Grand Floridian bakery) VERY special imho... at the castle there is a sense of frenzy of the princesses running from table to table to get autographs and pictures done, to move people... very frenetic... for my taste I like the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway - more relaxed and the food at breakfast is similiar - and those CM's were more attentive, and could talk of their home in Norway - really enjoyed that!!

VEry magical, and outside the Grand Floridian the Carriage is there for a photo op too!!
