Dining plan with magic band question

Hi I had a quick question. We are on the dining plan and say my husband wants to go and pick us up QS breakfast while we are in the room getting ready. Does he have to bring all of our magic bands to do that? Will he be allowed to do that or would we all have to go?

Just one MB will do the trick. You can order all meals in your party using just one band.

I haven't used the MB yet, but with the KTTWC only one person had to go. My 1st trip with MB is coming up, so I've been reading these threads like crazy. To my understanding, as long as you are linked/set up through MDE & have & reservations linked...one person would be able to pick up breakfast, just like 1 person can make all of the FP+ reservations. Hope this helps.

Aaah, I was going to ask can only certain bands be 'approved' to make purchases? I guess the answer is yes, anybody's band who also knows the PIN?

The PIN is required for EVERY transaction with the magic band, including redemption of dining credits.

If you haven't set up your PIN on an online check-in, you will set it up when you check in to your resort. Remember when you do things like let your kids buy a snack, they will need to know the PIN to do it.

No, we haven't set up (or seen anywhere to) a PIN. They're named and coloured though.
We're in the UK. Do we get the bands at check-in or are they sent to us?

You will get them when you check in, they don't ship them internationally.
