What is available for dining plans when in DVC? For instance, can you get a magic your way package? I know you get some sort of discount with your DVC...what is the best way? (family of 6) :earsboy: :earsgirl: princess: princess: princess: princess:

There are no dining plans available to DVC members.

DVC members do get discounts at selected WDW restaurants. You will receive a list of the current dining discounts when you check in. To see a list now, look on the Members' Website.

If you have an AP/PAP (many DVC members do especially now that DVC members get a substantial discount on the purchase of APs/PAPs), you can purchase a DDE (Disney Dining Experience) card for $50. This gives you a 20% discount on many WDW restaurants.

Best wishes -

The MYW dining plan is not available to DVCers staying on points, just as it is not available to FL resident o AP holders booking discounted rooms.

There are a few dining discounts wit DVC...most lunches.

Otherwise, you can purchase the discounted AP and then get the Disney Dining Experience card for $50, it is good for 20% off at virtually all Disney owned full service and buffet restaurants, as well as counter service restaurant in those locations that don't have a full service restaurant (Animal Kingdom, Pop Century and All Stars). The card is also good for 20% off of alcoholic beverages, the only plan to include those.

A MYW package would include your lodging. If you choose to stay at a DVC resort on CRO cash reservation, you probably could get the package including the dining. Staying on points will not allow you to get a "package".

Sorry...what is AP/PAP? I usually get what all the wbbrev. are, but I'm stumped...

Also, is that a one time $50 or yearly?

AP = Annual Pass
PAp = Premium Annual Pass

Prior to this year, the DDE was only available to Florida residents, cost $75 and was valid for a year. They could renew it for (I think) $60.

AP/PAP passholders were allowed to purchase the DDE begining this year, and they were offered a $25 discount. I do not know what the renewal is for AP/PAP passholders.

HTH.
