Dining Plan - where to start?

I purchased dining plan (magic your way plus dining) along with my hotel/flight package.

Just wondering if I will get any voucher in the mail, or everything will be automatically entered into my resort room key (e.g. dining plan, theme park ticket)?

Does it mean that if you have 3 persons in a room, you have to ask for 3 room keys?

Say I will stay for a week (7 nights), does dining plan credits assign to each room (7x3), or each room key separately (7 in each key)?

Everything will be coded onto your room key. Yes, each person will need a key; they'd need one anyway, to access EMH and well, frankly - the room.

Each key will have the 21 credits coded onto it. You only need to present one room key to 'pay' for your meal, and your account (not each card) will be debited.

Your DP will be coded on the room keys, but it is kept track of on a main computer, not on the keys themselves. Anyone who needs to either get into the room or charge meals will need a room key. In addition, if your park tickets are encoded on the key, then everyone will obviously need one to enter the parks. If you plan on eating meals separately (or even something like ordering from separate counters at Cosmic Ray's), it's nice to have the separate keys.

Side note: When I went with DD7, she had a room key since her park tickets were encoded onto it. However, at check-in, the CM asked if I wanted her to be able to charge items to the room. I said no and that was printed right on her room key - and probably coded onto it.

Thank you. How about my DD2, who is not on dining plan, and free admission to parks (since she is under 3). Do I need to request a room key for her?

Not to hijack this thread, but I didn't want to start yet ANOTHER thread about the dining plan for this quick question--I made reservations for Hoop de Doo and was charged up front--I'm pretty sure this is included with the dining plan (using up 2TS credits for each person), so I'm wondering why I was charged--will my credit card be refunded? I probably should have mentioned to the CM that I had purchased the dining plan when I made the reservation, but didn't think of it at the time.
