We are planning a trip in Oct. of 08 with our three kids (6, 5, 2). I have a feeling that the deluxe dining plan is more food that we will need. Anyone have experience with these options?

We're going in February, so I'll be able to tell you more after our trip. Yes the deluxe plan seems like a lot of food, but I'm doing it for the convenience sake, I'd rather pre-pay my meals and not worry about it. Anyway, I chose the deluxe plan based on the fact that I wanted to do some signature dining experiences. If it wasn't for that, we would have gone with the smaller plan. Also, if you want more flexibility and pay for some meals OOP without worrying about what restaurants accept the plan, maybe that plan will work for you. Also, just because you can have an appitizer, entree, and dessert, that doesn't mean you have to eat all three. :-)

No one has experience with the deluxe plan yet. Its new in 2008. For us, the regular plan was a lot of food, but it included appetizers when we did it. I don't think the deluxe plan makes sense unless you plan to do two TS/ day or if you are going to a lot of signature restaurants.
