Hi, I just wanted to share my family experiences on the dining plan since I rely on these reviews so much when I make our plans.
Lunches:
Cosmic Rays- pretty good, got a hamburger, chicken tenders, and rotis. chicken. The lines were very short and easy to find a table.
Flame Tree- not very good, got Ribs and smoked beef. The line was short, but took 30 min. to give my order. I would not eat here again.
Toy Story Pizza- good, everyone got pepperoni pizza and salad. They only have a couple of dressing choices though.
Sunshine Seasons- excellent, I would have ate there every day. We ordered chicken caesar and chicken flatbread. My son wanted sushi, watermelon and a nesquick choc. milk, which was all on the dining plan.
Leaning Palms- good, chicken wrap and pizza. Staff was really friendly, they gave our kids hula hoops to play with, an extra bucket and pail, and extra cookies.
Cantina de San Angel- average. Nachos were just okay. The wait was extremely long.
Now for the fun stuff Dinner:
Boma- okay. Buffets are not really my thing, but I heard such good reviews I wanted to try it. They didn't have any meats that appealed to our family. They had a pasta salad that was really good. And the zebra domes were good. The service was very slow.
California Grill- excellent. The best steak and scallops I have ever had. We live on the Chesapeake Bay so we know good seafood. The flatbread and ravioli were also great. Our reserv. at 9:20 and was told the fireworks would be at 9. So we got there early to watch them on the deck and the fireworks were actually at 8. Our new fav. place.
Flying Fish- good. The atmosphere was nice. The food was alittle disappointing. I thought the peaky toe crabcake was good, but my husband hated it. Everyone ordered the scallops after having Cali Grills, but we all were disappointed.
Wolfgang Puck- good. The flatbread was pretty good and so was the steak. They have really good desserts.
Jiko- good. The bar-q flatbread was good, but the bread they serve with your meal was gross. My steak was tough and dry and the scallops were pretty good.
We had counter service at Carribbean beach for dinner and everything we tried was completely inedible.
My favorites are California Grill and Sunshine Seasons.
