(I posted the following earlier today but it's not showing up. Here goes again...)
Dining plan observations:

It's a lot of food and we had snack credits left at the end.

I didn't like being tied down to adr's.

Early morning charactor breakfasts cut down on our sleep!

Dinner and lunch meal TS was too slowly paced.

I wouldn't pay for the DP because it's too much food and the money we'd spend on food would be less than what we'd spend on the DP.

We gained weight. :earseek:

The reviews:

Crystal palace breakfast. Food was good, and the puffed french toast was wonderful. Great charactor interaction, the staff was great. Eating there once was fine, probably wouldn't go back. However, we were done early and made it in time to wake up tink! Used 3 TS. Price was around $50. Left extra tip for waitress.

Le Cellier. This was our best meal. We were seated promptly, service was good. Loved the pretzel bread! Our waitress brought us more of the pretzel bread upon hearing how much we liked it. I had cheese soup (good but wouldn't call it outstanding), filet with mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake. The filet was very tender and loved the potatoes! The cake was good but again, not outstanding. DH had the shrimp appetizer (was good) and the filet/potatoes. His fruit desert was fantastic. Our medium well steaks were cooked less than what we consider medium well. Our DD was allowed to order an appetizer and she had the cheese sampler. The portions were very small and not that great. She had the spaghetti and the chocolate moose which were both good. The meal was $134 and we used 3 TS. Left extra tip for waitress.

Cape May character breakfast. The food was good. The mickey waffles were good and the cream cheese blintz? were extremely tasty! The character interaction was ok---signed autograph and took a picture, not much more than that. Terrible, terrible waitress. Been there, done that, wouldn't go back.

Liberty tavern lunch. Food was very good. I had the salad, turkey/green beans/stuffing/mashed potatoes, chocolate lava cake. I'm not a big green bean fan but I liked these! DH had the clam chowder (good), chicken with pasta (ok, he said), and the apple tart with ice cream (this was fantastic). DD had the kids meal fruit plate, mac and cheese, pound cake/chocolate sauce/whipped cream blueberries. Service was good. Cost was $76. Used 3 TS, left extra tip. Would love to try dinner there with the characters next time!

Cinderella's Royal Table dinner. I asked for a seat near the window when the hostess was about to seat us. She said she would see what she could do, looked at her paper, chuckled, and said seating arrangements had already been made and that we had the best seat in the house! She took us to the window that had a table for 3 looking directly out at Cinderella's carousel! We enjoyed the view immensely, especially when they were clearing out the park and there were no people. Occaisionally, the carousel would light up and rotate, even though there were no riders, so I'd retend they were doing it just for us ! :goodvibes I'd have to say that was the magical moment during our trip.

CRT food was good. The bread at the beginning of the meal was ok and the honey butter was very good. I had the shrimp appetizer & queen prime rib with root mashed potatoes. The prime rib was very tender and potatoes were fine (not as good as Le Cell's!). DH had the shrimp appetizer and king prime rib with potatoes. He enjoyed it as well. DD had the kids pasta, veggie/cheese plate. I was quite disappointed when told that the slipper dessert was no longer available (but my view of the carousel tempered my disappointment). I had the key lime creme brulee which was very good. Both DH and DD had the crown sundaes. They said it was ok---plain vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, and a dark chocolate crown. Service was very slow, our bread was late, they never brought the mussels with the appetizer, we had to ask for a 3rd place setting they forgot to set, our beverages were never refilled, etc. The cost was around $100. We used 3 TS.

We had CS at the Sassagoula Food Court--3 dinners, 3 breakfasts. Portions were huge.
Breakfasts included mickey waffles, blueberries, bacon, eggs, french toast, muffins, fruit cup, cinammon roll. Breakfasts were good.
Our first dinner consisted of Rotisserie Chicken with cornbread, brownie, mashed potates, corn. Chicken was dry, brownie was bland. Everything else was good.
We had Chicken Jambalaya with cornbread which DH liked, and I didn't. His carrot cake was very good. DD had the spagetti. She liked it, I didn't. Her sugar cookie was good.

We also had CS at Kringla Bakeri in Epcot. It was ok. Had ham and turkey sandwiches, fruit cup and salads as the appetizers, cheese cake (not good), pretzel dessert (good).

We had CS at Earl of Sandwich. DD liked her pizza sandwich, my Full Montagu was good, and DH liked his Scuddeto. DH liked his brownie and us girls' choco chip cookies were good.

We had breakfast at Main street bake shop at MK using CS. They let us have strawberry smoothies for our beverage---very good! We had a sandwich (was ok), krispy creme doughnuts, cherry danish (yum!), cupcake.

We used SC for mickey bars, frozen banana, cokes, bagged chips, popcorn.

We ended up bringing back some of the snacks (and a whole lot of MNSSHP candy)! Diet started today....I need to go hide that candy! :)

Thanks for the great reviews. The view out the window from CRT does sound magical. I'm glad to hear you had a great time.

Wow sounds like you ate at several of my favorites. You can't go wrong with Le Cellier. Thanks for sharing :)

I agree with a lot you said, I plan to post my reviews soon!!

glad you had fun...

I managed to "find" one of my lost 30 pounds so I am pleased with that...

however we left with 16 CS and 10 snacks (until I bought all the rice crispy mickeys from CC's!! and gave them as gifts!! ) :cool1:
