Hi there....I want to take full advantage of the dining plan when we are there July 21-28...staying at Beach Club Studio (DVC members). This is our first time on the DDP. My sons are 7 & 12 so the oldest is considered an "adult". I know folks say this is the time to take advantage of those restaurants you wouldn't normally want to pay out of pocket.....but we have our favorites and wanted some opinions....thanks!!!

Here is our table service reservations...dont' need to go into detail on the CS.....but would welcome any "don't miss this CS restaurant" recommedation.

Table Service:

Dinner at Garden Grill
Breakfast at Chef Mickey
Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose
Dinner at Planet Hollywood
Lunch at Sci Fi
Breakfast at Ohana

Thoughts? These are favorites of ours...but is there someplace we should reconsider and replace?

My 12 yr. old is getting quite adventerous with his eating but the 7yr. is your typical picky kid eater.

Thanks!!!!!

For counter service meals, I'd try Sunshine Seasons at the Land in Epcot. Lots of fresh choices. And the main street bakery for breakfast (if it fits in your schedule) some very yummy stuff.

The only TS meal I would kinda question would be the Sci Fi for lunch. Are you planning that on the same day as your Fantasmic Package? IMHO, those two meals together would be too much - especially since Fantasmic Packages tend to be early (4-5pm) and the earliest lunch could be is 11am.

Otherwise, go where you enjoy - don't worry about trying stuff you may or may not like. It's your vacation, be happy!

P.S. We love Planet Hollywood. I know it gets knocked on the boards alot but it has a lot of really great choices.

Thanks for your feedback.....the lunch at Sci Fi and Mama Melrose are on 2 different days...in fact we only have one TS a day (whether it would be a breakfast, lunch or dinner)..........

JMHO but based on where/when you are using your credits you may want to reconsider using the DP. I just added up your TS quickly & you may not break even. I would take a second look at the prices vs the cost of the DP.
