Where are you getting the $44.00 amount for quick service. Has this information been posted somewhere?

The brochure is here showing the entitlements https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/m...altDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2017quickservice.pdf
Also for regular DDP https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/m...alog/WaltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2017Dining.pdf
Less for more is never a good thing in my opinion !Definitely a lost entitlement per day on the QS plan for 2017.

It's only "less" on the quick-service plan. And, I suppose, if you use deluxe credits for counter service meals. But it's a zero-net change on the "regular" plan.Yes this exactly.
Total value has been decreased. Is it worth it to most because they use the snack credits more than dessert, yes, but overall the value has gone down from what they offer right now.

Somewhat confused ( as usual!). I thought on DDP, you could switch out dessert and /or drink for an additional side. So next year, that will not be an option?
Any speculation on what the kids' QS meals will be like since they currently have their meals bundled together with entree/drink/side. If it stays that way, then they'd basically gain an extra snack with the regular DDP, even though they were not entitled to the dessert like the adults.
Wait... Is Coronado Springs NOT on the 2017 Dining Plan??????
It sounds to me that nothing is lost with this change. They just took the dessert from the QS meal (which you had to get at the time you order, whether you were going to eat it or not) and made it a second snack which you can now get whenever you wish.
Yes, I saw that afterwards. So if you get the regular dining plan or the deluxe dining plan, you don't really lose anything so it still might be worth the money. But if you get the quick service plan, you do lose one dessert/snack so obviously value is lost. If they kept it as a fair exchange, there should be 3 snacks on the QS Plan. They took the dessert from BOTH QS meals, and only replaced them with ONE snack.

Your question doesn't make sense. Coronado Springs is a hotel, not a restaurant. If you're referring to the restaurant at Coronado Springs, I believe it is owned by a third-party, which means it will be updated when they renew their contract sometime around December.Wait...
