For table service:

What happens if no appetizers are on the menu, like at plaza restaurant?
Can you only order certain items or anything on menu?
Do kids get appetizer and dessert too?

For counter service:

What is included? Do you get a food and snack or just main meal? Drink?

I believe it's anything on the menu. Plaza probably allows you to get domething like a side salad as the appetizer but don't quote me on that.

For counter service you get your entree (ex. Burger and fries) a drink and a dessert.

which plan are you talking about?? Also there is a subforum for dining plan questions.. you might want to look there. I think that the stickied questions will help

1. The Plaza Rstaurant offers either a salad or soup for an appetizer if you are on the DxDDP. The soup is usually tomato.

2. There are no restrictions as to what you can order for your entree. Some appetizers and desserts are intended for two people and you must have two people order them in order to get them. There are some restaurants though that allow a single person to order the appetizers for two (Mama Melrose and Rose & Crown). A couple of the platter Feasts at Marrakesh and the kids steak at Le Cellier require a small upcharge. There are some restaurants that offer manager's specials that do allow people on the basic DDP to get an appetizer, but you must choose from a certain list of appetizers, entree, and desserts) and they are usually the cheaper items on the menus. I know Le Cellier, Chefs de France, and Captains Grill offer these. Again though, if you order from that section, they allow absolutely no substitutions. The only other restriction I can think of, is that if you want sushi for your appetizer at California Grill on the DxDDP, the two most expensive ones are not allowed. You can get them as entrees but not appetizers.

3. The kids meals come with their own appetizer (usually something like a small salad, a cup of soup, or celery and carrot sticks. They don't usually get to order something from the appetizer section of the menu. Everyone (adults and kids) get a dessert. Kids desserts will be limited to what's on the kids menus though.

4. As far as what's included, it depends on which DDP you have:

DDP includes 1 TS meal, 1 CS meal, and 1 snack per night of your stay. A meal (either TS or CS) includes an entree, dessert, and nonalcoholic beverage. As far as sides you get whatever the menu shows comes with that particular entree (hamburger and fries, just a pizza, steak with potatoes, etc).

DxDDP incudes 3 meal credits/night of your stay that you can use for either TS or CS. If eating at a TS restaurant it includes an appetizer, but no appetizer is allowed at a CS restaurant or at breakfast. On the DxDDP you also get 2 snacks/nights of stay.

No appetizers are incuded for adults on the basic DDP and as I said previously just about all kids meals incude a simple appetizer of soup, salad, or carrot/celery sticks whether they are on the basic or DxDDP.

Closed as there is an identical thread on the dining plan board.
