Does your dining plan expire based on the amount of nights or does it expire at midnight the day that you check out?

You're allotted credits based on the number of nights you stay. They expire at midnight of the day you check out.

Okay we land on a Monday afternoon and we have booked (with 14 day Ultimate Park tickets)a stay of 14 nights at a moderate hotel we leave on the afternoon Monday 2 weeks later. How many valid nights will we have the QS dining plan for? Will we need to pay for food on our last day OOP?

Are you sure? I had asked a CM this question specifically, because I didn't know if we should eat breakfast on our last day before or after we check out. The CM told me that once we check out, our dining plan credits expire.

Maybe they were misinformed, but I just asked this about 2 months ago.

I am positive about the midnight cutoff for using the dining credits. We just did it in August. We saved a table service credit and used it for dinner on our check out day.

Wifey...I don't know too much about the QS dining plan. On the regular plan, if you are there for 14 nights(nights being the operative word), you would get 14 TS, 14 CS and 14 Snack Credits for each person. How you use those credits is up to you. You said that you arrive in the afternoon. Chances are you will not use either a Table service or a Counter service credit for that day because you arrive later in the day. You can use that credit whenever you want. If you want to have two table service meals in one day, you can do that. They don't require that you use one credit from each category per day. If you want a day of just snacks, that's okay. The restriction is that you only have 14 credits in each category for LENGTH OF STAY up to midnight on the day you check out.

You will have 28 QS meals and 28 snacks (per person) to use for the duration of your stay. You may use those however you wish.

All credits will expire at midnight the day that you check out.
