Dining Plan Question

I've been to Disney several times but this is the first time I'm going with all 3 of my Dkids (10, 8 and 6 at time of travel). This is the first time I'm using the dining plan too. We've made 3 ADR's (Crystal Palace, Marrakesh and LeCellier) but had a question.

We're at Disney 2 nights - 3 days. So, we each will get one counter service and one table service and one snack each day.

My question is: Can I use the youngest two kids' table credits and pay cash for their table meals? Or are their table credits listed as a child's table credit?

I was hoping to use one full set of table credits for the meal at Crystal Palace on our first day. We would all use a counter service credit for lunch at El Pirata y El Perico.

On our second day, I we're having lunch at Marrakesh. I was hoping to pay cash for the youngest two kids' meals and then use their table credits for my DS 10 and I to eat lunch.

At dinner at LeCellier. I was hoping to do the same only use the other remaining table credits and pay cash for the youngest two kids.

Is this possible?

Also, is a turkey leg considered a snacK credit purchase or counter service?

Thanks. Beejie

Beejie, Table service credits are separated into adult and child credits.
Hope this helps.Ida

Credits are per night of your stay, not days. So if you are only staying two nights in the hotel, you will have two table service credits, not three. You can use them on any of the three days though.

Oh, I see -- it looks like you know that, that's why you're asking if you can save the kids credits. Nevermind. :)

The simple answer is you cannot use child credits to purchase adult TS meals.

Thanks guys. Just trying to save some $$$$

This is our first family vacation (just 3 days over Labor Day - all we can afford) and I want to make the most of it.

Again my other question was:

Can you buy a Turkey Leg as a snack credit? The Menus say it is a snack at the top of the menu page. Just thought that would be a good snack that would be big enough to eat as a meal for my crew.

Thanks. Beejie!

We were at WDW last month, and the Turkey Leg did not have the DDP snack symbol beside it; the price was also more than $4, so it wouldn't qualify. Those things are huge!
