Dining Plan Question: Plan and OoP on one bill?

Can you use adult credits for adults, and pay OoP for a child at a table service restaurant?...I remember reading in the past about "Maximizing", or some such, and believe this was said to be something that is done.

It sounds difficult for the server....Does anyone have experience doing this or the like?

Please tell me of your experiences.

We did in June. We didnt do it to maximiza our plan, just earlier in the week my husband and I shared a meal at the Plaza, and we had one meal left. So we shared the last credit at Kona for lunch and purchased a meal for our son the day we left.

Just remember that you CANNOT use a child's TS credit for an adult. They are separated now.

(But the CS credits still go into a "pool" and the child CS can be used by adults.)

We had an adult dinner left, but I do know we where on the deluxe and all of the meals where pooled together. I dont think it is like that on the basic.
