Dining plan online???

I thought that you could add the dining plan on the dvcmember.com site..... I was trying to do that today since the dang wait time for member services is 'over 30 minutes' but I cant flippin find it now....
Am I losing my mind here??
Im 30 days out, so I know im well within the time requirement.
 
If you click on the reservation under 'My Upcoming Reservation' on the main page, there will be a link to add a dining plan.

OR

From the 'My Vacations' drop down, select 'Upcoming Vacations' then click the Travel Plan Details for the reservation you want to add a dining plan to.

There are ways MS can input the reservation that does not give the option, I've had this happen to me and they had to fix it. I had intended to do the DP on line last minute due to uncertainties of the group but had to call instead.
 
Ughhh I just wound up waiting on hold for 20 minutes.
Im pretty sure all of this broo ha ha surrounding my magic plus and magic bands have just put everyone in a tizzy and they are tying up the damn phone lines.
I wish everyone would just go with the flow.

I doubt it has anything to do with magicbands and FP+. We are now in the 11 month booking window for next October. People want to do Food and Wine and the Halloween party.
 
I haven't tried calling MS for more than a week now and so haven't experienced (but do sympathize with) the long hold times...

BUT, 2-3 weeks ago, I did call 3 times within 3 days getting "My Disney Experience" and magic bands and FP+ sorted out prior to my 11/11 arrival at SSR...

It's NOT "obsessing"...it's making the darn website work at all! It's not (or at least it wasn't) even slightly intuitively obvious how to work things, and in my case, each time I called someone from Disney IT had to fix something to make the system work for me...

Fortunately for me, it does now seem to be working (knock on wood)...I went online this morning to "tweak" some FP+ choices, and had no trouble accessing my reserved times and no trouble making the changes I wanted to make...unlike the first three times I tried when the problems ranged from the site not recognizing me at all to trouble getting from my villa reservation to my dining reservations to my FP+ reservations...

So...sympathy for the wait times, but if MS folks have to fix each member's (or even a significant fraction of members') MDE info there's gonna be some time involved!

Pretty sure that since they now have a separate option to "speak with someone regarding my magic plus" (press 7) means they must be fielding oodles of concern/frustration/complaints/questions from people.
Sure the 11M to next years f&w is part of it as well.
