Dining plan on split ressie question

Ok we are checking into BCV on Aug 7 but not starting until Aug 8 because we we have a split reservation.... Will my 180 day mark be for Aug 7 or 8th??

Do you mean that you are paying oop for the 7th and then using points starting the 8th?

I could be wrong and if I am I know someone here will correct me but, if both reservations are using points, I think your 180th day would start on the 7th. Last year I ended up with a split stay at AKL but they were linked together so I was able to book dining and such for my entire stay starting with the day of arrival.

If you are paying oop for the first day and then dvc points for the rest, I am not sure they can be linked. You would think they could but then again,

I know for certain I did this last year and my 180th day started the day of arrival, but it couldn't hurt to call.

We had a split stay last summer and I could book my reservations for all 6 days from the first day of our reservation. We were doing 3 BCV and 3 BLT.

I think if you have a one night reservation for the 7th, that allows you to book 180 + 10 from that night.

The CMs have found a way around this glitch so if you get an informed CM MS can book the other ADRs

oh man... Im not sure what to do, I was going to take February 8th off of work.. that is my 180 day from the 7th maybe I should take the 9th off..?

Well, the problem is solved... I called DVC and we can book on February 8th because we are "checking in" on Aug 7 despite the fact our dining plan begins on Aug 8th!! That is 180 from Aug 7th!! Yeah!!!
