Dining Plan Newbies

Eh it's not that hard. Look at the menus and see what restaurants look good for your entire family. But you'll either be WAY too full from eating 3 sit down meals, or you won't utilize the dining plan very well.

I agree with some of the pp about the Deluxe DP being too much food and too much time. We use the regular dining plan and have more than enough food with a CS and TS each day. If we were to do the deluxe I would be going to the signature restaurants to use the credits. Don't forget for each TS ADR you have to be at the restaurant 10-15 min. early plus the travel time from park to park. You could be looking at over an hour travel time to get to a meal x 3 times a day plus the time for the meal. You may be spending more time going to/from places and eating than actually enjoying the rides and shows.

I have made ADRs recently and have had little problems there are only a few blocked out and if you are flexible on times.

We are at Chef Mickey's at the same time!

I agree with all the pp, and you have too many TS meals a day. That is a lot of food and a lot of time taken out of your day eating and not touring!:guilty:

It is hard to choose because you have so many good ADR's, but if it was me, I'd dump Cap'n Jacks, Planet Hollywood, lunch at 50's PTC, breakfast at Wave or lunch at The Plaza, Yak and Yeti, and Grand Floridian Cafe. Maybe you could shuffle some of your other ADR's so you don't have 3 in one day, but the ones you have left are great!:thumbsup2

Good luck and at least you have too many ADR's, because it would be worse if you didn't have enough!

Okay, so I went through your dining reservations and made the changes that I would do if it was my dining plan. I took out all lunches and added signature dinners. I also tried to keep the dinners in the same areas where you planned the original dinners.

Don't worry about lunches, you will either be full from breakfast or you can use snack credits for lunch.

I checked these new reservations based on a party of 5 and they are all available for your dates.

This way you can eat better quality food & have more park touring time. :goodvibes
