This is the first time we have been on the DP. Can we still use the Mobile order on the Dining Plan?

Yes you can. I think they've also improved MDE and you can now check your remaining credits on there, which I believe is on the newer side. I know they didn't have it when I was there this past Sept.

When you use mobile order, do the credits automatically come off the balance of your DDP? In messing around with the app at home, it looks like my credit card will get charged. I’m also curious if it is worth it to use the mobile ordering in general.

Yes it will automatically apply the credits. The credits don't show up until the day of check in so that's why it shows your card instead. Once you're about to place the order you'll know everything you ordered is included on your DDP because the balance will show as $0.00.

Yes, and you can't separate things like you would be able to at the counter-for instance, use the dining plan for the entree but charge an "extra" to your room or credit card. Or if you can, I never figured our how. I wound up using a snack credit for a $1 add on item!
