Dining Plan--How long do you think it'll be around???

Do you think they will still have the Dining Plan in 2008??? (I hope they do!!!!)

We were unable to get the dining plan for our trip next year (boo hoo!!!) The next trip we have planned after that won't be until 2008, Do you think they will still have the Dining Plan then??? (I hope they do!!!!)

Are you saying that you were unable to get the dining plan for your trip next year, because it didn't fit into your budget?

We are booked with the dining plan in June '06 so I would assume the plan would be around for at least all of 2006.

The dining plan -- in one version or another has been around since at least the early 1990s. With the popularity of the plan, I suspect it won't be heading out to pasture... Sure, it may get a few more changes as Disney continues to "improve" its efficiencies, but I will have to assume that it's not going to go away.

I was assuming that the OP couldn't get the plan for '06 because they were using some other room discount (or were staying off-property).
