Dining Plan for large parties

My family is going to WDW soon and planning on staying in on of the 3-bedroom Villa. Some of use want the regular dining plan and some want the deluxe. Is this allowed or do we all have to have the same dining plan for the whole room? Thank you.

If it's really important to the family, you could split up into smaller rooms (request connecting) and get different dining plans for each room.
