Dining plan for kids

I Have three kids under 10 and we are planning on getting the regular dining plan during our trip. When we order meals from the counter service restaurants, will they be required to order kids meals, or can they order regular size meals? I'm just thinking that most days we'll be doing late breakfasts for our table service meals which will fill them up. So I thought maybe I could just have one child order a regular sized counter service meal at lunch and let two of them share it. That way after we end our day or if they get hungry in the evenings they still have another counter service meal they can share rather than wasting food at lunch and then only having a snack credit for dinner. They eat like birds anyway.

The dining plan states that kids need to order off of the kids menu when the restaurant has one.

Plus you can only order as many adult meals as you have adults on the plan at one time. If you have 2 adults you can only purchase 2 adult quick service meals (if there are separate kids and adult menus) at a time. The won't let you order 3.
