Would you pay for the dining plan during the food and wine festival? I can't decide if it makes financial sense.

That probably depends on how you plan to tour. If you plan on doing a lot of the Festival's special events, like the wine dinners, and Party for the Senses, then probably not. But if you were just touring the parks normally, then it would, especially since you can use your snack credits for the booths.

I am, we have young kids so we're not doing any of the special events. We plan on spending 2 full days plus an evening at Epcot. I'm booking one dinner at LeCellier, the rest of the time we plan on snacking around WS. Hopefully we'll be able to use snack credits like the past two years.

We're not. We spend so much of our eating at the F&W booths, we don't do much in the way of TS or CS. As a PP said, it really depends on how you plan to tour. Enjoy!!

You can use your snack credits at all of the F&WF booths!!! DEFINITELY get the dining plan, you will love it!!

We are doing the DP next week and in December but not for F&W. With the special events and tasting booths it doesn't really work for us.

I was there last year during the F&WF. I had the DDP and I personally didn't use a single snack credit on any of the F&WF items...they are just way too small and not a good value compared to the other snack items in WDW.

I think the variety and quality of the F&WF items far out weighs the "good value" comparison. We like to try everything and don't concern ourselves much with "getting the most bang for our buck". We used many snacks @ Epcot on GREAT international items...the other credits went mostly for popcorn and mickey ice cream bars;)
