We were wondering what drinks other than fountain pop can you get when you are on the dining plan. Specifically at the quick serivce restaurants. Do any restaurants have special ones or one that are more tasty. I think I remember caseys having frozen lemonade but can't remember. Trying to plan it out. Sometimes the dining plan can be overwhelming once you are in line to order

Coffee, tea, soft drinks, any bottled drink they have (getting bottled water is a waste since you can get it free throughout the park). There may be some of the specialty drinks that are not included, it will say what is on the menu it will have a little dp next to it.

At Quick Service restaurants you will be able to tell which beverages are included in the dining plan by the purple DDP logo next to it. The basic fountain beverages such as soda, coffee, tea, iced tea, plain bottled water are included. There are some non-alcoholic beverages that are not included, but it will vary by restaurant and you'll be able to tell from the menu board.

The Lemonade Slush at Casey's that you mentioned is served in a souvenir cup according to allears so you would have to pay out of pocket for it.

We got smoothies as our drink for our meal at the bakery in France at Epcot.

Getting a bottle of water to me is not a waste. Since Disney World uses Coke products the bottle water is Dasani. Dasani is the only bottled drinking water I will buy. The taste is a big factor but it is nice to have a bottled with a screw on lid. So you can carry it in a purse or cinch sak. A cup you would not be able to.

I usually either get one bottle at the beginning of the trip then refill it from the cups or use a collapsable water bottle that has a spring type clasp on it so I can attach it to either a crossbody or belt lope. When empty, it rolls up and fits well in a pocket, when full, it's not as heavy as a bottle and easier to carry.

Since they now specify that the beverage entitlement can be switched for any snack, I would say any drink with the DDP logo next to it qualifies. All slushies that aren't in souvenir cups seem to fit in this category. Also if ordering soda, always ask for large, the DDP includes it.
