Is it possible to get a buffet breakfast in WDW, that is
a) included in the DDP
b) free from characters

Looking for more of an "adult" breakfast experience as it were.

Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness resort has a breakfast buffet without characters but alot of nice cast members. The only thing is that it is considered a table service and will take one of your table sevice credits for the day. It is only $11.99 so you might want to out of pocket this meal.

Thanks for the advice!

Does Boma offer a traditional fare or does it have some more exotic options? Or is it a bit of both?! :lmao:

I'm with the 2 posters above, Yaht club galley for breakfast. You have a choice to order off the menu or eat off the buffet. The buffet is $15.99 and includes your beverage.

The Yacht Club galley sounds great actually, as although we are staying at Pop for most of our trip, we will be at the Boardwalk Villas for 2 nights.

Does this count as one table service credit then?

And can you make ADR's?

Not sure about the credits as I've never done the dining plan. However, I did make AR for eating there, but it was empty. Only my table and another one with people. The food was fantastic.

The buffet had smoked samon, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bagles, pastries (chocolate croissants my dh said were to die for), bacon, fruit, etc.

I DID SPOODLES (W/1 YEAR OLD) LAST YEAR WHILE HUBBY & dd3 SLEPT. wE WERE LEAVING THAT DAY & i GOT UP W/BABY @7. SPOODLES HAD A BUFFET THAT LOOKED QUITE GOOD BUT i CHOSE TO EAT OFF MENU. HAD 1 TS CREDIT LEFT (WE HAD SHARED A MEAL AT ESPN THAT TRIP)& i COULDN'T LET IT GO TO WASTE! i ACTUALLY UPGRADED AND HAD THE 6 OZ STEAK & WASN'T CHARGED FOR IT.

HARDLY ANYONE IN RESTAURANT @8:15 WHEN WE LEFT.

Boma is my new favorite breakfast buffet. There are your regular breakfast stand-bys and just a few "different" items. I'm not very keen on trying new things, primarily at breakfast time. But, their Frunch juice is out of this world!!!

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'd looked at Spoodles but I'm sure I read somewhere that they don't do the buffet anymore?

Boma, Yacht Club Galley, Trails End, Maya Grill at CSR, are all breakfast buffets on the dining plan with no characters. Whispering Canyon Cafe has a breakfast all you can eat "skillet" but is probably somewhat raucous even though it isn't a character venue.

Spoodles serves breakfast, but it is not a buffet. They do have an all you can eat breakfast platter on the menu.

In my opinion Boatwrights at POR has the best breakfast on property, but it also is not a buffet.

I would pay OOP for breakfast, most are not too expensive and you could save the credit for a much more expensive meal. However if you have enough credits the options above are all great ideas, we love Boma personally.

I agree that Boatwrights is one of the best breakfasts and this is from someone who does not like breakfast food! Their french toast was fantastic! We originally stopped by Boatwrights because the food court was so busy but Boatwrights didn't have any type of wait. This was a great find for us and we will be visiting for breakfast again.
