Dining Plan available on Room Only Reservation?

I get Disney tickets at a discount through my employer so we usually do a room only reservation. We want to do the dining plan on our upcoming trip, but it looks like the dining plan is only avialable with the room/tickets package.

Does anyone know if I can get the dining plan on a room only reservation and purchase my tickets seperately? Thanks!

The only way to get the dining plan without ticket purchase that I can think of is if you use or rent DVC points. That is one option, anyway!

it is my understanding that you cannot do this... you can however, buy the lowest possible base ticket for everyone in your party (1 day base) and give them away or sell them on ebay...

We have annual passes. But, we bought 1 day tickets so that we could use the dining plan. We plan on using those tickets at some later date.
