If I use a cs credit for breakfast, what am I eligible for? If I get a platter, do I get a drink also, and "something" for the dessert?

What if we just want cereal and fruit or yogurt for breakfast? Will they let you combine a few things for a meal or do you get stuck paying oop?

Also, dessert anywhere/everywhere... will the ts restaurant pack this "to go"? We are not really "sweets" eaters, so I can't imagine eating dessert after finishing a huge meal! And I guess the answer is still "no" about swapping a dessert for an appetizer, huh?

The resort food courts will allow a continental breakfast option for a CS credit. This will get you 3 items....you could have, for example, a muffin, yogurt and juice or a fruit, bagel and muffin. It is basically any 3 items...the one exception to that is the milk and cereal combo. That is 2 items but you could get that with say a muffin. If you opt for the platter you will also get either 2 beverages or a beverage and a pastry or fruit.

Yes, you can get desserts to go. There are many people that keep them for breakfast the next day.

There's no dessert with breakfast. They substitute juice, so you get 2 beverages. In practice you can apparently choose any beverage, not just juice.

Some of the places make you take one drink as a juice and then you can select another eligible beverage. So you couldn't take 2 sodas for example, but you could take a juice and a soda. I know Sunshine Seasons was one. Small hold up at the cashier while this was being explained to some folk in front of the line. ;) If you are unsure, just ask first as the flexibility and specific items can vary from one place to the next.

Hmmm... so I could get a bottle of water and a juice? That water would be sweeeeet later on in the day, in the parks! Will they let me get 2 bottles of water and skip the juice???

About the only place we would eat b'fast would be POP, or maybe Starring Rolls, if that helps anyone in being specific with their answers.

You can subsitute a beverage for a pastry/dessert though at most places.

At Pop you can get whatever beverage you choice. One does not have to be a juice. You could get two of whatever it may be water, juice, milk or soda. Or you can choose to get one drink and one dessert. Dessert can be fresh fruit or a baked good of some sort.

Never ate at starring rolls but we did eat at the MK bakery for breakfast and there you can get a sandwhich and two drinks or a sandwhich, a drink and a baked good.

The MK bakery was our fav. place to have breakfast. The ham and cheese croissant's are the best. Melt in your mouth good. We got a turnover for dessert and these were also very good.

Your welcome!

Have a great trip.

Another thing I wanted to add is if you get cereal you can get both the cereal and the milk as a snack credit. So if you did not want to waste a cs credit on the cereal you could do it that way as well. You can also substitute reg. milk with soy milk if you have an allergy or someone that can't have dairy for some reason. Did this with no problems for my son on our last trip.

At Pop and ASMu Dh and I split the breakfast platter. I dont eat meat and he doesnt eat alot for breakfast. I get a coke, he gets an OJ and we split the platter in the room. (He makes the food run while I am in the shower to save time.) With the some potatoes, eggs and the bisquit I am ready to go. Dh eats the bacon or sausage, half the eggs and half the potatoes.

At Pop in Oct, my DS would get a CS breakfast, he got a platter, drink & a bagel w/ cream cheese for me. Worked out great! Hope to do the same at ASMu next month. Anyone know if they do the same there?
