Dining plan and spending money

HI there..

Just wondering how much others have spend while in Disney and being on the dining plan.. There's 4 of us.. our children are 14 and 4.. they have abit of money themselves and were not planning on making any big purchases.. Just curious to how much spending money was spent.. We go on the 29th.. I am not sure if I am excited about christmas or seeing Mickey!!!.. Out little one doesn't know, were going to tell him on Christmas eve!... Thanks.. Sarah

We were on the dining plan in October and didn't spend that much more on food. We bought a big bag of chips and chip dip a couple of times and I think that's about it for food. Other stuff depends on what you want to collect. I'm a sucker for beanies, one tshirt and a couple on pins each trip so I think we spend (there are 2 of us) about $150 for extras per trip.
