Dining Plan and Park Tickets

I know that you have to buy at least a one-day park ticket to use the Dining plan. Do you have to but a ticket for each person on the plan or just one ticket overall? My DH and DD's both have enough days left on their hoppers from our last trip that they will not need tickets. My DS will need a 5-day park hopper though, can I just buy his ticket and still get the dining plan for everyone?

Everyone on the reservation has to have the same type of ticket. I would get a one day base for everyone and upgrade your DS to 5 day when you check in. Hold on to your one day base tickets for your next trip
