Dining plan and Fantasmic package

I'm DVC and intend to add the dining plan in December to our NYE time reservation. I want to book a Fantasmic package during that time and I believe that I need to give them a CC number. Since when I get there I will have the dining plan, willl I need to re-book, or will it be OK if we show up and then have the dining plan?

You'll be fine just showing up and stating you're on the dining plan. The F! package is only CC-held anyway, but if it were a prepaid event, they'd simply refund the amount back to your card.

A CC hold merely takes the number at the time of booking, but does not charge anything. If you don't show up or cancel by the posted time, then it will charge a nominal fee.

Huh! I didn't know we could use our TS credits for the F! Package. I am always learning something on these threads even after 30+ years of visiting WDW.
