Dining Plan and DVC

Newbie here. I will be renting points and staying at Boardwalk in October. Will I still be eligible for the dining plan? If so, how would I go about getting it since my hotel reservation will not be made through CRO?

Hi there! Welcome We'll be at BWU October 8-13! Starting April 1st DVC members and those staying on points WILL be eligible for the dining plan! In order to add dining you have to call member services and tell them you are a guest of whomever you are renting points from and they can add dining for you. Hope this helps!!

Yes, you can! I am also renting points for a stay in October - across the lake at BCV. When you receive your reservation confirmation from the DVC member you're renting from, there will be a phone number for Member Services at the bottom. I called this number and was able to add the dining plan to my reservation. They didn't require a credit card number or anything. She just said that the plan will be paid for upon check in. I'm really excited, because this will be a great deal, especially considering the great deal I'm already getting by renting points!

Is there a cancellation fee if you change your mind about the disney dining plan( before you arrive at Disney and before you pay for it)? Thanks

Nope. It can be canceled anytime before arrival, but not the day of arrival. That's what I was told.
