Ok, so I just paid off our DL trip for December and am working on getting the plans worked out for the actual trip. This trip has been 2 years in the making and I can't wait to get there. I know that I have to start thinking about reservations for all of our meals, but I don't even know where to start. We will be at DL from Dec. 20 thru Dec. 27 and have the 5 day meal deal. I know that the meal vouchers can be a bad thing at times unless you plan it out. Also I am not able to eat 99% of the food that is served (my main food source is either IV or through a feeding tube), so most of the places I will be just sitting with my family and not eating or maybe drinking a cup of water. With all of that being said how do I even begin to plan for our meals while we are there? I don't want to loose money by making a wrong choice, but then again I don't want to pay a ton more money for the meals because of wrong choices. We are staying at the Best Western Park Place hotel so we get a complimentary breakfast daily...not that we will eat there daily because I think I want a character breakfast. What are some suggestions as to places to eat? Where would be a good place for meals on Christmas Day? If I were to go with my family to an all you can eat buffet will I have to pay full price just to sit down at the table since I don't eat anything? I have a really hard time paying almost $40 just to occupy a chair. I look forward to the help in making these decision

Hi Scrappin Bear

Above is a link to a thread that outlines making the most of your dining vouchers

Thie above link takes you to a sticky on the first page giving a list of menus at restaurants throughout the park.

We love goofys for breakfast. It is fun and whimsical with dancing throughout the meal with goofy. This is at the DLH and would count as a premium dining experience. Dining with Minnie and friends for breakfast is also lovely, a bit more formal, lots of characters and has the benefit of being in the park.

There are lots of places to sit where you not eating a meal would not be a problem.

Here is a thread that I started a little while ago to find out a bit more about Christmas Day dining. Hope it helps.

I am so glad that you and your family are getting to enjoy Christmas at Disney this year.
