We will be going to Disney over New Years this year for the first time as a combination Christmas/Birthday present, and I would like to know a few good table services places to eat on New Years Eve and New Years Day. Does anyone have any good tips to beat the crowds? And how far in advance can I make these reservations? Thanks!

Since you know you are going, count backwards and call 180 days out (from the day of check-in if doing a resort package, IIRC) from NYE (I think that's July 3rd). Need to know what parks you are doing for each day in order recommend particular places.

We did the Princess lunch at MK last year, packed as was the whole park. Pretty much all the seating times will fill, so not much way to beat the crowds (just relax, take your time, get plenty of sleep the night before). FWIW.

We are thinking about doing epcot on NYE, most likely lunch and dinner at table services restaurants because we added the deluxe dining plan. I have never been to the new Italian place and wanted to know if it was good. We used to like Alfredo's di Roma's quite a bit and wanted to know how it compared. Thanks for your info!:thumbsup2
And is Ohana a crazy choice for NYD dinner?

Tutto Italia is great.

A fun thing about the Epcot restaurants is that reportedly each celebrates the New year at the same time as it is happening in their native country. So I think that might be at 6pm in Italy??? We only been at WDW twice for NYE. Both times did Hoop Dee Do and then returned to our resort to see MK fireworks so no personal experience withe Epcot that night.
