Dining near park close time?

I've just booked dining for a friend and managed to get a late BOG ressie for 9.20pm for a night when MK closes at 10.

They know they will probably not be finished in 40 mins , but when they do finish will they be escorted out of the park or will they be allowed to walk down Main street and take a couple of pics? ( I mean like 2 or 3 not a 20 min photo session)

They also don't want to feel rushed to finish there meal etc, I doubt this would happen but has anybody else still been dining after park closing?

Not sure when they are going, but I've read that MK tends to stay open at least an hour, sometimes two, after closing to allow diners to finish, people to do some shopping etc.

In fact, most people recommend not flying off with the rest of the park at closing - just causes bottlenecks etc. Stay a bit longer and shop etc, the buses back then will be much more pleasant!

yep, the shops on Main Street are usually still open until around an hour after park close as well

That's great , they are staying offsite so buses not an issue , but it's great to know they'll not be rushed .
