Dining near but not inside HS

I spend way too much time searching for ADRs...

I keep thinking about where we might eat lunch at HS. Honestly, nothing appeals to me there. We don’t have park hoppers this trip otherwise I might hop to Epcot. Are there any easy table service options that are easy to get to from HS?

Also should note, that day we have a reservation for Olga’s in the morning and Fantasmic dessert party. I’m really looking for an easy midday lunch break.

Thanks!

With the skyliner, it’s easy to get to the new Riveria resort and all the Epcot resorts. It’s also a short walk from HS to the Epcot resorts.

If you aren't on the dining plan and like salads, Fresh at the Dolphin is really good (and just a boat ride or 10-15 minute walk from DHS). Ale & Compass at YC is also very good.

Thank you! I bet my kids would enjoy a boat ride! I didn't even think of using that to get to the boardwalk hotel area. We always rent a car, but loading up and driving away seems too much like leaving.

Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk was one of our best meals this last trip, and as the other posters have said, you can get there easily via the boat.

You pretty much have easy access to whatever will be open at all of the Epcot Area resorts. You can use the walking path or boat.
Nothing at Swan/Dolphin will accept DDP credits, but they have some spots that are pretty great, imo.

On the BW, Big River and ESPN Club are also possibilities for lunch, and usually an easy walk in without an ADR, although ESPN can get busy during football bowl season.

I agree with others, BW area has a couple of good ones, we like Big River Grille. At the Dolphin there is a little ice cream shop/cafe that's pretty good and easy to get into and out of. I haven't tried the new Ale and Compass but hear it's pretty good. We walk from HS, it's just as fast (sometimes faster than the boats) and a nice little walk.

We usually stay at Yacht Club and never eat lunch at Hollywood Studios. For me, Ale & Compass is probably the best lunch bet, but if you want quick service then Hurricane Hanna's isn't bad. What about Beaches & Cream? It reopens next week and our kids loved it (but you'll need reservations).
