hello
Is there a way to guarantee or try hard tobget inside dining at rose and crown? Thank you

Just ask. They started to seat us at a patio table on a super hot day and I just asked if there was any way we could have an indoor table. It was no problem at all. I should have requested it when we checked in, but I didn’t think of it.

They will always try to accommodate you just ask. As it gets close to Illuminations they have the opposite problem just about everyone wants to eat outside.

sorry to hijack, but if you eat there for dinner, do they let you return to the outside area for Illuminations?

Thanks i was hoping someone had experience calling in ahead of time to add the information to the reservation

Since I am hoping to book dinner maybe what I will do is in the afternoon day of I will go and ask if they can put a note requesting inside for our ADR.

Thank you!

Calling ahead of time to make requests as to which part of the restaurant you wish to be seated won't be effective...you need to ask at the podium when you check in. Since with R&C most guests apparently want to request outside, I don't see you having issues with requesting inside when you get there.

As for guarantees, there is no way to guarantee anything, but if you ask they will try to accommodate you.

No I have never heard of that. It is my understanding that the outdoor viewing area is small and it is for current diners. I have never heard of an earlier diner being accommodated

If you dine there close to Illuminations, your waiter will walk you to their private standing viewing area unless you're already seated outside. If you dine there early and want to return for Illuminations I highly doubt they will allow you there since the viewing area is already so crowded from the current diners. Your best bet is to reserve a table there no sooner than an hour before Illuminations.

That is our strategy ArielFan! Worked for us a few years ago and really was a highlight to sit outside during the show. I'm trying again this time with a reservation an hour and a half before Illuminations. We have a big lunch that day too so if it runs later to eat by waiting for a different table - no big deal. I remember the outside area for standing looking not too bad that time - but I worry word has gotten out!

We love R&C!! One of must do's at EPCOT.

We have always been asked when checking in at the podium whether we want inside or outside. I like sitting outside when the weather is good, it's a lovely view.

we enjoyed it last time, it was in October and the weather was great. We will be there Aug 29th, so it will be much hotter and muggier, and I am thinking we would prefer inside. Sounds like we can request and so we will reserve here. Otherwise we were going to give Coral Reef a try

I like Rose and Crown as well, although I always request inside dining. I have never had my request go unfulfilled, even during busy dinner hours. Of course, I always have a reservation which may help. I think you'll like the menu...and the alcohol selection if you enjoy a nip.
