Hello! We are heading to Disney (WDW) in six months, and one day, and I can't wait! It will be the first trip for both of my kiddos and I of course want it to be perfect!

Anyway, I want to do the breakfast in the castle with the princesses and I know that it is really popular. Can anyone tell me what it is called, how early I can book my reservations, and what number I call to do that?

I am new to all of this so be prepared to see a LOT of questions from me in the next few months. princess:

Hi-

It is Cinderella's Royal Table and you can call 407-WDW-Dine at the 90 day mark to reserve.

If you are staying on site, you can call 90 days from your check in date at the resort and book the first 10 days worth of reservations.

Cinderella's Royal Table(CRT)

Adr's(Advanced dining reservations) Can be made 90 days in advance and the number you call is 407-wdw-dine.

we ate there our 1st trip and the girls loved it. the food is okay, but the experience was great. Have a great trip.

Most dining reservations are now made 90 days in advance. Guests staying at Disney-owned resorts may make reservations for their whole vacation (up to 10 days) on the 90th day. This privilege is not extended to guests of the Swan, Dolphin, Shades of Green or any of the Plaza resorts. The Planning Strategy Calculator can help you determine on what exact dates you need to call.

It is called Cinderella's Royal Table Character dining, call first thing in the morning when they open and have a credit card ready.

You MUST call exactly 90 days before the date you want to dine at the Castle for breakfast. And, you MUST start calling a couple of minutes before WDW Dining opens (7 AM, on all days including weekends and holidays. All times are US EASTERN).

There are two possible greetings:

a) Thank you for calling the Disney Reservation Center. Our office is closed... (hang up immediately as soon as you hear the words "Our office" and hit redial immediately).
OR
b) Thank you for calling the Disney reservation center (pause). You're in and on hold! Wait! Do NOT hang up or you will lose any chance of a ressie!

Upon speaking to a "live person", interrupt the lucky CM and blurt out "I need Cindy's, for June xx, for x people, any available time". The CRO rep will understand your temporary rudeness, and you'll make up for it later with endless amounts of gratitude... Don't try and pick a specific time. Any delays will seriously hinder your ability to get a reservation.

Use the 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463) number to directly call WDW Dining so you don't get caught in a transfer queue from CRO. This can amount to up to a 12 second delay in getting to Dining.

You will also need a credit card -- effective February 1, 2006, payment in full is required at time of booking for breakfast(and lunch and dinner, too) at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card, the reservation cannot be made.

Your post totally made me laugh. My husband is looking at me like I am crazy. What other dining experiences would you recommend? When we go my son will be 5 1/2 and my daughter will be 3.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan you will not need a credit card hold on the reservation. You simply give them your resort reservations number and tell them you are on the dining plan.

Also, the breakfast at the Castle isn't as hard to get as it used to be. Ever since it went to two credits on the dining plan and they raised the out-of-pocket prices to $32.00 for breakfast, $34.00 for lunch and $42.00 for dinner it's not quite as difficult to get that reservation.

Our favorite restaurants are:

O'Hana
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare
Akershus
Liberty Tree (but there aren't characters there anymore)
LeCellier
Coral Reef
50's Primetime Cafe

We had breakfast at CRT in Oct and loved it...all of us loved it. Dh, me, ds6 and dd2.
Other places we ate and they loved: Coral Reef (sat near the tank), Crystal Palace and Sci Fi. They also liked the food a lot at Wolfgang Puck Express.
