Ok. We'll be staying at SSR. MK opens at 9AM. We have breakfast reservations at CP for 8:15AM. No car, must use buses. How do we make sure we make it to our reservation on time? What's the earliest we can get on the bus and how do we get entrance to the park before opening? Thanks. :flower3:

Can't answer transportation question. There is an entrance at the parks open for those doing a character meal.

Per Disney Website:

Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time and up to 3 hours after Disney Theme Park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 3 a.m. from the Downtown Disney Area. Certain areas of Walt Disney World Resort are also connected by well-lit, paved, low-grade walking paths

It looks like the first bus will only be available starting at 8:00 AM. I wouldn't think with only 15 minutes to get from SSR to MK would be enough. You might need to take a cab to MK.

The Disney website has said this for a long time, and it's misleading. WDW buses start running much earlier than that, just for the benefit of people who have early ADRs in the parks. (We're WDW veterans and have taken these early buses many a time to get to an early CP breakfast.) If you get to the bus stop between 7 and 7:15 AM, you should be able to catch a bus and be there on time with no problem. There is a turnstile entrance at MK dedicated to those with ADRs before park opening. I believe it is the turnstile farthest to the right. There will be sign designating this turnstile, so just look for that. You may or may not be asked for your ADR confirmation number, so it would help to have that with you.

You did not indicate if you reservation was made on an Extra Magic Hour ealry entry day. That would also impact the time the buses are available. As mentioned earlier it is safe to say the buses run much earlier than the posted times.

Exactly - the Disney buses to ALL the parks start at 6:30 AM each and every morning.

The first bus rolls out at around 6:15am. The morning buses don't come as frequently so be at the bus stop about an hour before your ressie. For an 8am ressie, be at the bus stop by 7am.

Do all the buses, to all the parks, start that early? Or is it just the MK buses that start that early. I have heard that some have been told that buses to the other parks don't start until closer to 6:45-7ish. But I could swear that I have gotten a bus, from the S/D, to AK at 6:25 before.
Just curious.
