Dining in Orlando for Thanksgiving Day

I have tried to no avail to get an ADR with Disney Dining at any place that we would eat. Can anyone tell me if restuarants outside of Disney are open on Thanksgiving Day? We are staying off property but wanted to eat with Disney, we didn't find out until yesterday that we were going to be able to go.

Try Cappricios at the Peabody Resort on International Drive.
They have the most wonderful holiday buffets, everything you could possible think of from your own homemade meal (and as good as homemade) and then everything you could possibly imagine extra.

The tables are beautifully decorated, the lobby, halls beautifully decorated.
We have really enjoyed it the years we have went, in fact thinking of going this year again because I am tired of doing dishes on the holiday, lol.

We had pizza at the food court of the Premium Outlets when we were there on Thanksgiving

Are there any restaurants at your hotel? I know the hotel restaurant where we stayed served a turkey dinner.

Take a look at the restaurants on the City Walk at Universal. I had a fabulous meal there 5yrs ago at the Cuban place, but they no longer do that buffet, it was awesome. I found that a lot of places in Orlando close early that day so don't wait too long to eat. I won't even tell you where I ate 4yrs ago.
