I made my ADR's back in September for our December trip. But since than I have made some changes and I would like the opinion of all you expert DIS'ers out there!

Tues., Dec 6th- Arrive in the AM, lunch in POP food court, dinner at Tony's Town Square in MK with Spectromagic/Wishes
Wed., Dec 7- AK in the AM with Pizzafari or Tusker House for lunch, Epcot in the PM Le Cellier dinner @ 7 PM with Illuminations after
Thurs., Dec 8- Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot, Lunch at POP food court, Dinner at Beaches & Cream
Fri., Dec 9- MK all day! Lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus, Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern before MVMCP
Sat., Dec 10- MK in morning, Lunch at Grand Floridian Cafe, Dinner at Hollywood & Vine with Fantasmic
Sun., Dec 11- Breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Leave WDW around 11 AM for 4 nights on the Disney Wonder!

What does everyone think? Do you think I should keep the Chef Mickey's, or should I change to 1900 Park Fare? If that's even possible at such short notice. :earseek: The trip will be the first for all of us, myself, 25, DH, 30, and DD, 3. Thanks!
Nicole

I think you could probably get 1900 if you try. I personally would keep Chef Mickey's. Nice way to end your trip.

I am confused however. December 6th is a MVMCP night. I know because I'll be there. No spectro or wishes that night. You might want to check on that.

Sounds like a great selection...but as the previous poster said Dec 6th is a MVMCP night, I will be there that night.
I would stick with Chef Mickey's we really enjoyed it, we used it as breakfast for our last morning too.

We always start our trips with Dinner or Breakfast at Chef Mickey's, we love it, however, we also love 1900 Park Fare, but I would keep my CM's.

Your itinerary sounds good to me. We are going in December (9th - 16th) and we have so far:

Dinner at Chef Mickey's
Dinner at O'Hana's
Dinner at Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic)
Dinner at Teppanyaki
Dinner at Cape May
Breakfast at Cinderella's Castle
Dinner at Tony's Town Square (before MVMCP)

I may be changing my plans though, I have to sit down and write out my itinerary. It's so tough because meals are such an important part of vacationing.

Thanks for letting me know about the 6th!! Is there a way to find out if any night we are there will show Spectromagic? If not, all the more reason to go back soon!! Thanks for the opinions, keep em coming! :goodvibes

I haven't been to Le Cellier but based on the reports I've read from many people lately it seems that Le Cellier is a lengthy meal, with many people needing about 2 hours from start to finish. Even if you got in to your 7 pm seating without a wait at all it might cut it pretty close for Illuminations. Just an FYI.

Looking at the December calendar on the Disney site, Spectromagic will be at 7pm on December 7 and there are two parades, at 9 and 11, on December 10. I see that you already have plans for both those nights. If you want to try to see Spectromagic this trip, one thought would be to see if you could get the H&V fantasmic dinner for December 6 instead - I know they've recently released some additional dining times for the FDP for that week, so there may be some availability. Then you could see Spectro on December 10. One thing to keep in mind though - Saturdays are always crowded in the MK, plus they're even more crowded on Spectro nights during the times of year that Spectro isn't every night. If you have another trip coming up, you may just want to wait to see Spectro to avoid the hassle.

Other than that, I think your plans look great! I would keep Chef Mickey's. It's so fun for little ones, and it will be a great send-off for your cruise. :goodvibes

Thank you all so much for the advice! Kaycee, I may try that switching, getting Fantasmic for our first night, and being in the MK for spectro on our last night. Of course, I know I should decide soon since everything is filling up! If it doesn't work out though, all the more reason to convice DH to go again in 2006! :cool1:

Wishes is every night even with the MVMCP---you should be able to go to the WDW Official Website and pull up a December Calendar that will show which nights have SpectroMagic and which ones have the MVMCP. Good Luck.

Hi Nicole!

See you on the 12/11 Wonder!
