Help

I cant start making my adrs tomorrow, and my minds blank, I had all my meals that I want in my diary but my bag (with my diary in it was stolen in town yesterday) so I am desperatly trying to find all the info I need on the net.

Is it ok to ask some questions and hopefully find some help and advice

Ok so we arrive a sanford at about 4.30pm, should I book a meal for that night (as I cant see us wanting to que for hours) and if so where? we arnt planning on going into the parks that night but we are staying on property.

next day i was thinking cindys for breakfast? any tips and anyone got the number? or if not that 1900 park fayre

Is there any where I can get meal times from for the onsite restaurants?

So I am panicky its just I have had a right weekend so far, everything was in my bag, licence purse etc and I have to get all new

any help appreciated

:grouphug: So sorry to hear about your bag being stolen, I hope that you are fine. Sorry I cant help with ADR's as I've never made any, but I just wanted to send you some pixie dust :wizard:

first of all relax.....we didn't make any advance reservations at all, just called the day before we went to a specific park and we did fine...
granted that cindy's is more difficult and you need to make advance reservations for that, but other than that, it's not as big a deal as everybody makes out..

ok....to answer your questions to the extent that i can..

the website http://www.allearsnet.com/ has reviews of the various restaurants (and i think menus as well)....i don't think they have times, but it should help..

regarding your first night, does your onsite resort have a food court?...usually after a long flight, we're too tired to do anything but a quick meal...alternatively you could go to DTD and eat at Earl of Sandwich (also a counter service place)....that's where we ate the first day....

I'm not sure i would go to cindy's the day after arrival....first of all, what if you're delayed by weather or something....i would put a reservation like that (the only onsite restaurant reservation that actually has to be guaranteed on a credit card) somewhere deeper into my trip...
so maybe you should go for 1900 park fare on your first morning....

i'm sort of clueless as to what to tell you about your other reservations...as i said, i was able to make all of our reservations on the day before we went to any particular park...and even in some cases on the day of the meal (walking in or making the reservation in the morning)...

I am so sorry to hear about your bag being stolen...hope you didn't have anything too valuable in it but it's annoying having to ring all the bank, CC co etc.

Personally, and it is personal, we don't go out to eat the first night. We feel after breakfast at the airport, and two meals on the plane, that we've eaten quite enough for one day so we tend to get a drink and maybe a bag of crisps or a cookie and that's enough for us. Others seem able to fit in another whole meal!
Don't forget, by the time you get to your resort and check in, quite a bit of time will have gone. For us a swim, explore the resort, unpack, watch a little TV and bed is all we have ever wanted to do.

Why don't you spend a little time looking at http://www.allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm
and decide on your plans. Good luck.

Ive never made any ADRs, Ive always just turned up and gotten in fine. I wouldnt book for the first night, you will be so tired it might be easier to eat in the hotel.

ive made all my adr's, we have

crt 1st morning like you
1900 park fair
crystal palace
le cellier
rose and crown
boma
chef mickeys
concourse steakhouse
donalds breakfast
hollywood and vine
liberty tree tavern
we are going to have a snack the night we arrive and the chef mickeys is the last day before we leave

good luck with crt thats the hardest to get, did you know that you can now book all your meals for 10 days on the 90th day rather than calling back each day !!
hth

ps im sorry about your bag its happened to me and its a horrible feeling :grouphug:

What a terrible thing to happen, but good that you don't appear to have let it have too big an impact.
Can't help with ADR's but I'll be interested in following the suggestions of others :goodvibes
