Hey we are going this summer to DW....Yeah! We have not been in about three years so I am sure there are new dining options, and new favorites. I do not have as much time as I did on previous trips to research, research, research. So I am counting on you guys to help me out a bit. What is you favorite place to eat at each park? Oh an by the way, do they have a Toy Story character meal yet since the last time I went. Thanks so much for your replies?popcorn::

you didn't mention which park so here goes our favs:
Prime Cafe @ DHS
Ohana breakfast @ Poly
Kona @ Poly [heard great things..have ADR for Sept]
Narcossee @ GF
Crystal Palace @ MK
1900 Park Faire @ GF
LTT @ MK
Rose & Crown in UK
have a blast!!! :goodvibes

Hey!! Are you from Bama?? I am!! I noticed your login name was bamadisney! Anyways, if you are going this summer then you need to get your reservations ASAP! Here are my recs (note that I have a three year old boy so I am giving you my "mommy" perspective on dining):

*Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends-MK
*Ohana (at the Polynesian Resort) with Lilo and Stitch
*Cinderellas Royal Table at MK(very hard to get ressies) so if you can't get that then definitely get the Akershus b'fast in Norway at Epcot-Princess Storybook B'fast
*Chef Mickeys at Contemporary Resort
*1900 Park Faire (b'fast with Mary Poppins and such, lunch/dinner with Cinderella) at Grand Floridian Resort
*Liberty Tree Tavern (characters at dinner only) at MK
*Coral Reef (no characters but aquarium surrounding you at dinner...cool) at Epcot
*Garden Grill with Chip/Dale at Epcot
*50's Prime Time Cafe at DHS (they treat you like your their child...get your elbows off the table!!)
*Sci Fi Dinner at DHS (an actual drive in movie scene...really cool...you eat in a car!)
*Hollywood and Vine at DHS with playhouse disney characters!!

I know I'm forgetting something! Did you get the dining plan?? If so, then most of these meals are 1 Table Service (Cinderella's Royal Table isn't) on the plan!! Good luck!! :thumbsup2

One more thing: You asked about "Toy Story" stuff...no dinners yet but they are going to have a new ride called "Toy Story Mania" opening soon...not sure if it will be open by summer but you can check...it will be at DHS! And Buzz's ride is AWESOME at the MK! As you can tell by my avatar, my son is a HUGE Buzz fan!!

Yes I am from Bama. Trussville (between Bham and Gasden). Thanks so much for you replies....Keep them coming. We have kids 12 and9 DDs, if that helps.

My favorites are California Grill at the Contemporary, Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Coral Reef at Epcot. Not sure if you're going to be on the dining plan, but the first two require two TS credits, while Coral Reef only requires one. All have great food and service!

Our favs are:
MK- Crystal Palace breakfast w/ Pooh and friends. We like to make an early ADR and get in before the park opens!
DHS- 50's Primtime and Sci-Fi are awesome
Epcot- There are so many to choose from but the top two for us are Le Cellier and Teppan Edo.
AK- Haven't been to one here
Then a few can't miss places for us at the resorts are breakfast @ Chef Mickey's @ Contemporary and dinner @ Ohana's @ Polynesian and we always end up @ ESPN Club @ the Boardwalk.

Hope this helps!!

well, we are no veterns, but I have three dd's and these are our favorites and the ones we can't wait to try this year.

MK: Crystal Palace (we enjoyed lunch last time and this year we are doing breakfast)

Epcot: Coral Reef was really neat! We are excited about trying Biergarten this year, it sounds like fun!

DHS: 50's Primetime Cafe was a hoot and the food was good. We are going to give Sci-fi a try

Animal Kingdom: we haven't eaten any of the places here.

Resorts: We LOVED Whispering Canyon at WL and this year we are looking forward to trying Ohana dinner(we have done this character breakfast and it was great) 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickeys. I wish we could do Boma, but maybe next time. Have fun with your choices, I don't think you can go wrong at Disney
