We will be going to WDW over the very busy upcoming New Year's week. Since we didn't get our act together to plan the trip until after the 60-day dining window had opened, most of our favorite restaurants were booked.
I set up alerts with a major dining alert site, and also signed up with Dining Fairy and put in the exact same requests.
So far, I have received probably 15 dining alerts. For some of them, I was able to secure the reservation. For most of them, I was too slow. But I have heard absolutely nothing from Dining Fairy the entire time.
I assume this means that the alert services are much more aggressive in constantly looking for openings. I'm not sure why Dining Fairy doesn't step up its game; they are literally leaving money on the table. But so far, I have been quite disappointed!
