I've never been to Epcot for evening EMH before. I'm a local not a resort guest. My understanding is that non resort guests can still be in the park but we're just not able to go on attractions.

I found an ADR at Via Napoli for 9:10pm on an evening EMH day. If I'm in the park before the regular 9pm closing, will I be allowed to stay and go to the ADR?

Also assuming I can stay in the park past 9pm, will I be able to buy drinks or do they require proof that you're a resort guest in order to make any purchases? I just want to walk around, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. I don't care about seeing any attractions.

I think you'd be fine going to the ADR; hopefully others can confirm. But as far as buying drinks after 9, I have read many reports of people being disappointed by the majority of food & beverage locations closing at their normal time regardless of EMH and I think the few locations that stay open late may close at 10 instead of 11. My understanding is that you would be allowed to purchase items, but if everything you're interested in is closed that doesn't really matter.

As long as you are in the park before regular closing time you can eat and shop during EMH. We have eaten during EMH and were never asked if we were staying onsite or not.
