Do any of the restaurants do anything special, costumes, etc. during the Halloween party?

if so what time would you need an ADR to see this, would one need to book dining during the party time?

I think the only one that does is liberty tree tavern they were pilgram outfits i think. I tried to make reservations at LTT and Crystal Palace during the MNSSHP however everything was booked!!. So we decided to dine at Grand FLoridian Cafe and catch the monorail back to the park.

the lady I talked to on the phone when making ADR's said LTT characters wore masks ... she also said the reservations for the park dining didn;t open until the tickets went onsale... no idea if she is right we plan to try again May 1st if we can't get anything we will do CS

Both were booked for this year? What week are you going? Do you really think they are that busy or people booking in speculation, I mean the tickets have not even gone on sale.

You do not need to book after 7:00 and I suggest you don't... Get an early ADR if you can... They start dinner there at 4:00... You can also get into the park with a party ticket at 4:00.... We usually eat at LTT around 4:30 and then have a snack while we wait for the parade.... I have recommended this to several disers for a couple of important reasons:

1) You want to have eating out of the way to enjoy all party activities
2) Between 6:00-7:00 is a great time to hit some rides because the lines are usually short... People are leaving for the day, eating, or just coming in
3) Your wait for a table will be shortest if you have a ADR during the 4:00 hour

**Yes, the characters at LTT have some special extra's on their costumes (masks) to give them the Halloween feel!

Just an FYI - we called back on Friday for Thurs Oct 23rd at LTT and earliest available was 5:40 pm. Got CP for 5:00 though.

When we were at LTT for MNSSHP, a lot of the staff dressed like members from the Haunted Mansion. The characters wore masks. It was really a lot of fun!

We booked LTT @ 4:30 on our MNSSHP night for the festive atmosphere. One of the paid planning sites, where I got my info, pretty much agrees with all your points.

Our MNSSHP day is an easy day so we will just grab a bite at Downtown Disney before out big night! Any ideas for what to go as for a mind 20's couple???? Need suggestions other than mickey and minnie.

These are from last Sept. during MNSSHP. We have an ADR for this coming up party on Sept.16 at 5:30.

Hey we are planning on going to the MNSSHP on the 16th of sept as well, where is a good place to eat dinner at? It happens to be my daughters 8th birthday that day as well....any suggestions?

We took the earliest ADR we could get for LTT. The wait staff were all ghosted up...and goofy and the gang were all in their halloween costumes. It worked out GREAT. We were able to sit and enjoy our meal and not miss any of the party.

We are eating at CP just because we prefer the food but LTT looks like a good time as well!

Just want to clarify for any newbies out there, it's not really costumes like you'd see the characters in throughout the park during the party for meet and greets. More like eye masks or a festive apron that says "Happy Halloween" and Pluto wears a pumpkin on his head. :thumbsup2

OP, I would eat no later than 6:00p and I prefer CP or Tony's. We didn't like the food at LTT at all.
