For me, it was definitely the Cape May Clambake. I love New England style seafood, and was really excited about this pick. However, I found the clams and mussels underwhelming at best, and the clam chowder looked so watery and gross that I didn't even want to try it. There were hardly any other seafood options, which just made it feel like a Ponderosa-style buffet that just happened to have (kinda gross) clams.
The boyfriend and I went to Cape Cod in May, where I enjoyed some phenomenally fat and juicy mussels at one particular restaurant, and I remember telling him, "THIS is what I was hoping for at Cape May!"
