Dining credits pooled together?

My brain seems to be working very slowly tonight so I have a question...

Our entire "party" consists of 5 adults split into 2 rooms. we will have 3 in one room and 2 in another room. We will be there for 6 nights so we each get 12 CS and 12 snacks correct?
Does this mean that the 3 of us in room #1 will have 36 CS and 36 snacks on each of our cards to be used by the 3 of us and the 2 of us in room #2 will have 24 CS and 24 snack credits on each of their cards to be used by them?
We don't each have to use 12 credits correct? I know I will not use all of my credits. Does that mean that the 2 other people in my room can use my credits?

We are all new to this dining plan thing and there's just so much information about it that my head is spinning...lol.

If you have two different room reservations (each room has its own reservation number) the credits will be separated by room. If you have one reservation number covering both rooms, all credits will be pooled. Yes, other persons in your room can use your credits.
