Hi everyone! I am looking for your suggestions for dinner when visiting DHS. We are looking for somewhere close to DHS but we have already ate at most restaurants and the couple we haven't tried have no reservations available. Looking for somewhere that we can hop on hus or boat for dinner then back to park for evening.

Ps we are on dining plan.

How about the boardwalk? There's Flying Fish, Yachtsman, Kouzzina. If your looking for something casual, there's beaches n' cream (they dont take ADRs, walk up only).

We loooove Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort. We've been a few times on free dining, and have reservations in September to go there. We always have an early-ish dinner and hop the boat to DHS for Fantasmic. Works great and we love the restaurant- out of 5 years going on Free Dining I think it's the restaurant we've visited the most. They have a good buffet with a great selection, nice service and we haven't seen it be super chaotic.

why not eat @ swan & dolphin. Shulas was ok there are tons of places to eat in those 2 hotels alone I believe u can taKE THE BOAT THERE FROM dhs :rolleyes1

I have to recommend Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club. Reservations are easy to get and they've been reliably good, at least for us.

ESPN Club. They take DDP and they don't take ADRs so you can wander over there at your leisure.

Another vote for Cape May :thumbsup2...we usually prefer dinner there over any of the other options in DHS. Very good buffet...plenty of options even for non seafood lovers.

If you have hopper passes don't forget all the resturants at EPCOT! Take the boat over to EPCOT from DHS have a nice dinner then head back over.

Thanks for your suggestions! I really appreciate the input. I actually made reservation for captains grill but I was little worried about it. We are already trying Cape May on our arrival night! I think I will stick with captains grill and give it a try.

None of these restaurants are on the DP, as the OP requested.
Another vote for ESPN. It is fun, casual and good food.
Have Fun
