Dining choices close to FW

As this is our first trip to FW I'm not sure about how easy/hard it is to get around from there. We are planning on coming back to the Fort every afternoon for rest/swim etc. and then having an early dinner and then possibly back to a park. I'm not sure what restaurants would be close by whether in a resort or park. Obviously TE is convenient, but what about WCC or restaurants at other resorts such as Polynesian? Hope my question makes sense

Ya'll are gonna hava awesome first trip to the Fort,
There are lotta goo choices to make both in the parks and at other resorts for dining,

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are close. And any of The Bay Lake Resorts are fairly convenient by boat or monorail.

The bus stop at/near pioneer hall has a bus that makes a loop between FW and WL so yes, WCC would be super easy and fast to get to. Pretty sure its the Downtown Disney bus at the WL that will stop at the Grand Floridian after the WL so heading over there for food is easy too....we did that several times last Sept, of course from GF you can hop the monorail to the Poly, or Contemp which I find faster then the boat/mono to the poly.
