Has anyone ever called and been told and expiration date that was different than what the card said when it came? Also, do they always tell you when you order when it will expire?

Have not had this issue occur - when you order, they should tell you the date expiration

Has there been a problem?

thanks

Can't say if the CM always tells you when the card will expire when you order, but I placed an order yesterday and the CM told me the card would expire at the end of December, 2006. She said I'd have to wait until December 7th (I think that was the date, I tuned it out, since I knew it wouldn't matter) to order a card that would expire at the end of January, 2007.

I ordered now because I prefer to have the card(s) in hand when we arrive at WDW 1/2/2006 and they estimate 4 to 5 weeks delivery time. We'll be returning to WDW in March and June next year, so it'll be rather easy to get our $50 worth. I figure we'll just buy another DDE card when we renew our APs for our January, 2007 trip. It doesn't make much sense to me to get things out of synch.

If this has ever happened the expiration date was always later than they told us which was nice actually. We renew them and we always seem to get an extra month in somehow each year. Guess it just depends when you renew. They usually expire them the following month you order/reorder of the following year. (ie. if you order/reorder in Oct. they would expire Nov of the following year).

No, I haven't had a problem. Just trying to decide how early to chance ordering one so the expiration date will be the end of Jan. 2007. Thanks everyone for the input. Many Mickey Moments to you all! :goodvibes

When I called the DDE number yesterday, the CM suggested that I wait until 12/5 to order the card so that it would run through the end of Jan. 2007.
