not sure I have the right part of the board for this question but here goes. Is 18% added on to a bill no matter if you have 2 people or 8 people in your party. I give a tip according to the service that was provided to m? . I am on the dinning plan and I take it offensivly if the amount for the tip is added on without my knowledge, that might make me decide to keep the dinning plan or nix it. I am not cheap by any means, give usually 20 percent when service is exceptionale but less when I dont feel it was worth that kind of tip.

is added automatically if you have a group of six or more people. An automatic tip is a pretty typical policy for the restaurant industry.

DDE or Tables in Wonderland has an automatic 18% for all TS locations. In my opinion the TIW policy derives from a different issue.

I just called and they said No to atomatice tpping with the DDP he had no clue what "Tables in Wonderland" was I am confused

When you're on DDP they give you suggested amounts of 18% and 20%, but the amount of the tip is still at your discretion.

well I take that offensivly, I always pay 20% unless I am ignore most of th e time from the waitstaff but I don't like to be told or suggested what amount to put down. I guess that have to with some people that dont tip the proper way, I know my ex was cheap when it came to tips.

Why would you be offended? You can still tip whatever you want, no one is telling you what to tip. Disney is showing you what the amounts would be if you want to tip 18 or 20 percent. This is very helpful for some people, who don't want to try to do the math in their head. What an odd thing to be offended about.

is the new name for the Disney Dining Experience program. It provides a 20% discount for certain locations. You have to be an annual passholder or a Florida resident to buy a card.

I believe Disney provides a mechanism for reducing the automatic tip for poor service. You would need to contact the manager for the reduction.
